The works of more than thirty artists in this exhibition are weaved tales and combined reflections of the world we live in. Here, a wide selection of paintings, sculptures, and mixed media testifies to the different realities where an individual resides.
Artists from different backgrounds with various art practices rise to explore the primeval and modern conditions of life, when rawness simply condones the essence of living. What we can observe here is the evolution of ideas, thoughts, and schemes; how dissimilar thoughts can still become sensible when pitted together in spite of the contradictions and the complications of the contemporary.
“Tandoro” features the variation in the way we tend to focus on a certain subject, topic, and idea. It is an arena, which surveys the mindset of the artists; what part of their lives and their thoughts could become vital and important, so as to be recognized and presented to the public.
What we can find here are individual stories, imaginations, and visions. “Tandoro” is an opportunity for each of these artists, many of them young and emerging, to rise up and claim their voices in the art world. Here, their works speak for themselves. We, the audience, then has the task to lean in closer and listen.
