February 25 to March 15, 2022

This exhibition puts together recipient artists from different batches of Eskinita's Tuklas Discovery Program. It attempts to create a dialogue on the effect of our current social structure on the manifestation of creative ideas and how the recent turn of events has influenced their creation.

This is a rather interesting time for the exhibition because the world has just been hit with the COVID-19 pandemic and its repercussions were destructive and has affected everyone especially the ones residing in the lower parts of the social class pyramid. In a weird but not really unexpected way, the rich became richer and the poor became either poorer or just dead. This virus has shown how bigger countries could gain faster access to vaccines by bidding, and how the rich could secure the early batches of the testing kits and quality healthcare. This tremendous social imbalance has definitely affected the works of the artists for the show, now more so than before.
